On June 18, 2026, the 2nd Alsatian Drinking Water Day will take place in Colmar, jointly organized by Colmarienne des Eaux and the AWBR. The event is aimed at professionals in the water sector and provides a platform for expert exchange on current challenges and developments in drinking water supply.
The focus will be on topics such as security of supply, water quality, climate adaptation, and innovative technologies. Experts from research and practice will present their findings and practical experiences and discuss possible solutions together. The AWBR Drinking Water Memorandum, published only recently, outlines the principles for ensuring a secure supply in the future.
The Alsatian Drinking Water Day particularly promotes cross-border dialogue between German and French stakeholders in the Upper Rhine region. The aim is to further strengthen cooperation and provide momentum for a sustainable and future-proof drinking water supply.
The event also offers an opportunity to deepen existing networks and establish new contacts within the sector.
