The TZW Annual Report 2025 has been published and provides a comprehensive overview of the key topics, projects, and developments of the past year. The digital edition highlights central themes related to water quality, water Infrastructure, research projects, and current challenges in drinking water supply.
Investing in Infrastructure and Future Viability
In Germany, 2025 was marked by intensive discussions about the need for investment in public infrastructure. Against this backdrop, TZW took an important step: with the purchase of the adjacent office building at the Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld site, TZW actively invested in its own infrastructure. This investment lays the foundation for continued positive and sustainable development.
A Very Positive Fiscal Year 2025
The positive development is also reflected in the figures:
- Revenue increased to €25.8 million, driven by laboratory and testing services, scientific consulting, and research contracts
- More than 33,000 water samples were analyzed
- 211 employees – another increase compared to the previous year
Despite declining national research funding in the water sector, TZW successfully secured new projects from related funding areas. This ability to respond flexibly to change and to develop creative solutions will become even more important for TZW’s future success.
