- Board of trustees
The board of trustees
A board of trustees was set up to advance and foster TZW’s national and international relationships and it advises TZW in its technical and scientific tasks. The board is summoned at least once a year by the DVGW’s Vice President for Water, who also acts as chairman.
Trustee board members are members of the DVGW executive board who are assigned to the water division. The board includes the president of the BDEW, the chair of the DVGW, the president of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the director of the DVGW research unit water at the Engler-Bunte Institute at KIT and a representative of Karlsruhe public utility company, Stadtwerke Karlsruhe. In addition, representatives from science, sponsoring water supply companies, professional associations and from German and international professional institutes should be nominated by the board of trustees to stand for a period of four years by mutual agreement.
